The social work department provides prioritised social work services to all inpatient wards and units across the three Western Health campuses, as well as some limited outpatient services. These include:
- Acute inpatient services - including Women's and Children's services
- Subacute inpatient services
- Transition Care Program
- Women's and Children's outpatients
- Preadmission and Day Procedure (Sunshine Hospital only)
- Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab
