Western Health Intensive Care Unit is an adult ICU, currently funded for 10 ICU beds and provides care for approximately 900 critically ill patients a year in a culturally diverse community. 

Western Health has 3 Emergency Departments, 3 Theatre Complexes, a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and 600 ward beds across the network. 

As well as receiving referrals from within the network we also accept patients from other regional and metropolitan health services.   There are 14 bed bays in the ICU and these can be used as either ICU (1:1 nursing) or HDU (2:1 nursing). 

We currently have vacancies for experienced, qualified critical care nurse - full time / part time / casual / 8 or 12 hour shifts.

As well as running Senior Staff seminat days to support the ongoing development of our experienced permanent staff, we offer several programs to new staff.
