If you wish to apply you must first meet the Mandatory Criteria as noted below :

Applications are sought from suitable candidates who fulful the following mandatory criteria

  • Australian-trained medical graduates holding "general" medical registration and who have completed a minimum of 2 years fulltime medical employment post MBBS graduation

or

  • International Medical Graduates who have completed a minimum of 2 years full time medical employment in Australia

  • Passed AMC MCQ (Part 1); and

  • Achieved a ranking of 7 or above in IELTS (listiening, reading, writing and speaking)




All International Medical Graduates Please Note: The Victorian Medical Registration Board Guidelines have changed from 1 July 2008. This states that applicants must have completed and passed the AMC Part 1 Component prior to Registration being approved. Please refer to the Medical Board of Victoria Website (http://www.medicalboardvic.org.au/) for all specifications/exemptions for any candidates wanting to working in the Medical profession in Victoria, Australia
