In 2011, Western Health expects to employ up to 51 interns (with another intern position on rotation from the Royal Melbourne Hospital). In this first year, each intern will rotate through five terms. The majority of Interns will rotate to a rural hospital in Wodonga, Mildura or Wangaratta. Most rural rotations provide experience in core areas of Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
