Applications are welcome, from eligible final year medical students, to join the team at Western Health in 2010.

Our education program includes twice weekly intern education sessions, incorporating simulation workshops and case-based education scenarios.

In 2010, Western Health expects to employ up to 51 interns (with another intern position on rotation from the Royal Melbourne Hospital). In this first year, each intern will rotate through five terms. The majority of Interns will rotate to a rural hospital in Wodonga, Mildura or Wangaratta. Most rural rotations provide experience in core areas of Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
