What is DASWest?
DASWest is the largest Drug and Alcohol service in Western Melbourne, and one of the largest addiction recovery treatment agencies in Victoria.
DASWest provides a comprehensive and diverse range of services for individuals and their families affected by drug and alcohol related problems. DASWest offers innovative and client centred recovery programs that include early intervention and prevention, counselling and support. DASWest also offers specialist pharmacotherapy programs and home and residential withdrawal options.
DASWest's drug and alcohol programs encompass Adult Services, Women's and Children's Services, Youth and Family Services and Community Residential Withdrawal Services.
DASWest is a community based program of Western Health. DASWest services are delivered from a number of sites in the Footscray area.
DASWest deliver over 2,000 client multi-visit Episodes of Care each year, and a further 1,500 Outreach contacts.
