If you are a suitably qualified, second-year, postgraduate doctor, we would like to invite you to join our team at Western Health in 2013.
Should you choose to become a member of our staff you will find yourself in a supported environment, where seniors make an effort to know you personally. Our HMO education program comprises weekly education sessions, incorporating simulation workshops and case based education scenarios.
Western Health offers rotations in streams tailored to suit those intending to train in either Surgery or Medicine and in a third, General stream for those who want more, wide-ranging experience either as an entrée into General Practice Training or simply because they are yet to decide their career path. Whatever your choice, our leading Health Professionals will assist you to reach your full potential through formal education and hands-on learning.

NB1 : All HMOs will be assigned an Emergency rotation during the year.
NB2: All HMOs will be assigned to a Night Duty / Relieving term during the year.
NB3: Every effort will be made to provide rotations of your choice - taking into consideration such things as current training program, previous experience, demands of particular rotations. However, this is not a guarantee as this is dependent on the group of successful applicants and the final rotation selection.
Some rotations can be designed to accomodate individual requests - these will be taken into account when final rotations are being signed off - however a mixture of rotations may be considered on a case to case basis - depending on the individual circumstances.
